Bars, Restaurants & Tabancos

Jerez is the cradle of its typical wine that is widely served in every corner of the city. Every street has its local bar -or several of them- and the best area if you want to eat tapas as well as to compare prices and variety is either plaza de la Asuncion or Plaza Plateros both within walking minutes from the property.

If you want to see a typical Jerezian unique bar, enter any of the many tabancos that can be spotted all over the city. If you are lucky and go in the evening you may even be able to enjoy one of the many flamenco shows that take place every night. For timetables visit the tourism office in Plaza del Arenal

Shopping

No visit would be complete if we don't buy that tacky souvenir. Whether it is a small flamenco dancer, a charging bull or a sample of locally produced wines, you can find a wide variety of shops starting in Calle Larga -head to your right and walk till the beginning of calle Bizcocheros to find it-. Filled with fashion shops and small cafes this is the place to shop till you drop.

If you are actually interested in flamenco, this is the best town in Spain to buy dresses, shoes or any of its multiple accessories.
