How have we improved our cleaning routine
Cleaning is now more important than ever. We have always been recognised for our hard work
in that field, getting the highest marks in the cleaning section. Currently and on top of the detailed
cleaning in each apartment and bedroom we have always done after each guest departure, we have
now implemented several disinfection measures, following all recommendations to avoid the virus to
spread any further.
What and how has it changed:

we have bought an air purifier/steriliser that outputs 150mg/h ozone, which, with its oxidising characteristics reacts destruying the cellular DNA from virus and bacteria

bed linen and towels are washed at 60 degrees, we also offer extra clothing for guests who wish to change them more often, although their stay is a short one

on top of the regular cleaning, we now disinfect with bleach all surfaces and devices in between guests (remote controllers, electrical equipment, furniture, etc )

we use bleach to disinfect every surface after it has been regularly cleaned with standard products
-
we recommed our guests to leave thieir shoes outside to avoid entering the disinfected area spreading the virus they may have brought from the street
-
common areas and its furniture, entrance hall, aisle and stairs are regularly disinfected several times a day
-
our cleaning staff are wearing masks and gloves
How do we respect social distance

Avoid social contact is crucial to stop contagion and that is how are we avoiding it minimising our social interaction with guests:

We collect personal data before arrival, as we are still complying with all registration procedures and this information must be sent to the authorities

We offer an autonomous arrival procedure as you can obtain the keys that are locked inside key boxes, without us touching them, although we will still welcome and guide you throughout the house from a safe distance. We still like to offer our best to our valued guests and to greet you personally wishing you a safe and great stay

each bedroom and apartment has its private entrance, only being shared the central courtyard and the roof top terrace, which is 80 square metres, allowing you to move freely without being close to any other guests in the unlikely case of meeing any at the same time and day

given the house layout, it is very likely that you may not meet any other guest during your stay
What have we been doing all this time to help
As a responsible business, we decided to step forward allowing free cancelation and reimbursing all paid amounts for all bookings that were made between March and May, regardless of the fare that had been booked, this has applied even to Non Refundable bookings.
We understood from minute one that this has been unforeseen circumstances and hence no guest should lose money for not being able to travel. Neither vouchers to use a later stage, no delays, no hidden fees, no excuses, simply a full refund of the total amount that had already been paid, contacting them directly and easing the whole process.
We have also helped people who has needed it the most, collaborating with Acoje, an association of local businesses located in the city center, by sewing and making hundred of protective masks that have later been given to those who needed them most when there were not available to be purchased.
